Designs for the new $39.3 million Warren Health Service have been unveiled to the public.
Minister for Regional Development, Terry Redman, said the new designs would greatly enhance health facilities.
"Investment in health infrastructure and services is fundamental in supporting the development of strong and sustainable regions," Redman said.
"The new Warren Health Service will deliver health care improvements for the local community that will meet future demand."
The existing hospital will be replaced with new state-of-the-art facilities, as part of the Southern Inland Health Initiative.
Minister for Health, John Day, said architects Silver Thomas Hanley were selected for the design.
"The design celebrates the history of the area and also reflects and honours the local timber industry, with the exterior walls formed with rammed earth and the entrance representing tree-like canopies made from local timbers," Day said.
"The Warren Health Service will be one of the major public buildings in the area and is designed to have a civic presence, relating to the town and people who live there."
The project is expected to be completed mid-2018.
