The 13th Annual WA Major Projects Conference returns on November 28 and 29, 2023, at the Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre. Attracting 250 delegates, the State’s premier major projects and infrastructure conference will provide a high-level platform to discuss key projects and topics centred on WA’s infrastructure pipeline.
Following another bumper budget surplus for Western Australia – this time totalling $4.2 billion – the State remains Australia’s strongest economy. In what can be described as an immense infrastructure program, $39 billion has been invested into major projects across transport, health, urban renewals, the regions, and a clean green energy future, to name a few.
Over the next four years, WA will spend $13.6 billion on transport infrastructure, including $5.9 billion for METRONET, that continues the vital amplification of Perth’s passenger rail network. The State Government has also made a clear commitment to tackle climate change via a $3 billion investment towards its green energy future, supporting the production of hydrogen and big batteries, and the extraction of rare earth minerals.
Featured keynote speakers at the 2023 conference delivering firsthand insights into these priority investments include Infrastructure WA and Development WA, alongside presentations on major projects from the transport, health, housing, energy and education sectors. The event’s featured panel discussion will focus on initiatives turning the State blue and green, via infrastructure that protects the environment while uplifting its communities.
The 2023 Western Australia Major Projects Conference is an event not to be missed. Join 200 delegates for two days of discussion, debate, and valuable networking opportunities.
